Latest News! Paint Me Ceramics Pottery Painting Studio has moved (new address above)! There is now a private birthday party room, a relaxing family lounge for Parents and Children, and a Workshop in addition to the Studio.

Within a hairs breadth of the sea, Paint Me Ceramics Pottery Painting Studio is an absolute Mecca for folk of all ages that are interested in unleashing their creative side.

Once inside this modern ‘Ceramic Café’, select your piece of bisque (that’s unpainted pottery to you and I) and then make the most of the vast array of colours, brushes and tools to create your one-off pottery masterpiece. There are 100s of items to choose from, including mugs, plates, animals figures…

With some 20 years pottery experience, Owner Frances is passionate about pottery! Ideal for the pottery novice, she is on hand to guide you through your own creative process, offering expert tuition at no extra cost. Frances even hand casts some of the items that you can choose to paint.

Frances is particularly a fan of dry brushing. This technique using acrylic paints requires you to brush against the grain with a bristle brush to highlight the piece, using barely any paint on the brush. The results are stunning and very life like pieces, (for example, animals) can be achieved.

Wonderfully, the kiln is available for you to see, so you can be involved in the complete process from painting and glazing to firing the finished product. Your finished item is available a few days later, or can be carefully posted by courier if you’re visiting on holiday.

A visit to Paint Me Ceramics is a really fun, great value activity for all weathers, and all year round.

Perhaps our favourite thing that Paint Me Ceramics does however is their Silver Clay Keepsakes service. Using art clay silver (99.9% pure silver), this allows you to capture precious prints of hands, feet or even pets’ paws on silver charms, pendants, cuff links, key rings… A fantastic gift idea.

Paint Me Ceramics can host Children’s ‘Arty’ birthday parties, and group sessions or evening classes.

Gift vouchers are available (we love these – they’re presented on painted & glazed ceramic tiles!).

Tea, coffee and juice are available (well, pottery painting can be thirsty work!).

Disabled access and toilets, including baby changing facilities.
